Ethnomedicinal Plant Resources of Tamang Community in the Konjyosom Rural Municipility, Lalitpur District, Nepal

Background: In Nepal, plant resources play an important role in the health of local communities. However, many parts country, this and its patterns are understudied. The purpose study was to document medicinal species assess their use among Tamang community Lalitpur district, Central Nepal. Methods: Ethnomedicinal information collected through focus group discussions, semi structured interviews with peoples key informants from using rapid rural appraisal tools (RRA) across five wards vz. Nallu, Chaughare, Bhardew, Dalchoki Sankhu Konjyosom municipality. Botanical voucher samples were for scientific identification. quantitative data analyzed consensus factor (ICF), fidelity level (FL) relative frequency citation (RFC). Results: A total 176 recorded under 82 families 158 genera as treat different ailments. Among them, 169 angiosperms, one gymnosperm six pteridophytes.
